Who We Are

Incorporated in May of 2003 as a 501 (c) 3, tax exempt entity,  Community Bridges works to encourage, support, and collaborate in transformative community projects across Wilmington, Delaware, as a means of building a more livable city in a civil society.

Community Bridges works to change the way people feel about where they live. Through our broad network of resident youth volunteers, community groups, and agencies, we seek out positive ideas that will make struggling neighborhoods better places to live, and then do whatever it takes to turn those ideas into reality. Our work is about finding and supporting community leaders, inviting and coordinating collaborators who can help make projects happen, and pushing for realistic projects that make visible differences.
